The Weekly Burdah Gathering at Banbury Madni Masjid is a spiritual event designed to bring the community together in a journey of remembrance and devotion. Held every Thursday at 8:30 PM, this gathering is led by Hafiz Qari Muhammad Mutahir, who guides attendees through the recitation of the Burdah—a poetic tribute to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Described as "a journey of remembrance that dissolves the self in the Beloved’s presence, a dance of the soul, where each verse is a step towards the Beloved’s embrace," this event offers a sacred space for reflection and connection. Organized by the Ahl Al-Sunnah Wa Al-Jama’ah community at Banbury Madni Masjid and Banbury Makkah Masjid, it welcomes all to join in this weekly celebration of faith and unity.
